It's a given every teen wants to grow up. They just can't wait to get away from their parents, their siblings--gosh darn it, everything.
They subscribe themselves to the ideas of wanderlust and fernweh, wanting to travel the world and do as they please.
I get that. But at the same time, I don't.*
I would love to see some places like Egypt, France, London, Australia, India and Scotland etc., but I'm a homebody. I hate going out half the time, and I'll do anything within the law to make sure holidays get spent right at home. I also kinda fall asleep during the 'wanderlust' themed part of about pages, mostly because I've seen it so many times it's a little boring.
So yeah.
Any other homebodies out there?
* i would love to get away from my siblings sometimes. trust me. they're not all evil though. just... 50 percent?
Aw I love the black and white <3
ReplyDeleteI can totally relate to that...
I think I'm kind of a homebody, but mostly someone who wants to travel. I'm scared that my life would be boring and more of the same - I don't want to live my life in one place, the city where I've always lived, and I know that if I don't go away to college I'll probably never leave, and I'd always regret it.
ReplyDeleteBut I know what you mean - everyone repeats it that they have wanderlust and fernweh and want to go somewhere else, and it's all the same. I'm probably guilty of it too :)
I'm with you! Homebody all the way. :) but I would really love to travel someday too.
ReplyDeletegorgeous photos and lovely blog!! :)

ps i vary: sometimes, i'm a total homebody; other times, i want to travel all the way around the world.
ReplyDeletehaha, this is most definitely me. I would love to travel and see the world - but really, I love home.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to travel...but yes, I consider myself to be a homebody. I think there's something cosy about being home with your family.
ReplyDeleteIs that silly of me? :P
